Citroën C5 X offers a choice of six metallic/pearlescent body colours:

The C5 X Plug-In Hybrid offers a metallic body colour Eclipse Blue(i) Optional extra paint colour.  

The C5 X comes with a contrasting black Bi-tone roof as well as a panaoramic opening sunroof as standard.

While its elegant sloping roofline is complimented with an aerodynamic upper spoiler and a lower gloss black trim providing improved downforce and braking stability. INTERNAL AMBIENCES A passenger compartment that reflects your personality C5 X offers an original and refined interior ambience allowing the passenger compartment to reflect the driver’s own personality.

The interior ambiences is available in Hype Black ambience. LIGHTING SIGNATURE Modern and hi-tech The Citroën C5 X features Citroën’s distinctive V-shaped light signature at the front and rear. C5 X stands out from the crowd and is immediately recognisable as the unique flagship Citroën. This high-tech light signature incorporates LED daytime running lights and LED headlights.

LONG-RANGE BLIND SPOT MONITORING C5 X benefits from long range blind spot monitoring (up to 70 metres) which helps to make lane changes effortlessly safe. When a hazard is identified an illuminated visual alert is displayed in the door mirror. ACTIVE LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM This system corrects the vehicle's trajectory by alerting the driver as soon as it detects a risk of unintentionally crossing a line without activating the turn signals. TOP 360 VISION This video assistance feature assists with low-speed manoeuvring and is activated automatically when reverse gear is engaged or the driver triggers it manually. It displays a top-side 360° view of your C5 X on the touchscreen provided by the four HD cameras mounted on the car (front, rear and underneath each door mirror). REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT This device detects hazards – pedestrians, motorcycles, bicycles or vehicles – nearby when manoeuvring your C5 X in reverse. In today's busy world this alert is an invaluable safety feature. PROXIMITY KEYLESS ENTRY AND START This feature allows you to lock, unlock or start your car while keeping your key firmly in your pocket. The car recognises the key holder's approach and unlocks itself (while the driver is approaching) or locks itself (while the driver is walking away). To start the vehicle, simply press the Stop/Start button. INTELLIGENT BEAM HEADLIGHTS This system is designed to provide safe, optimal lighting conditions for night driving. Depending on traffic, when your C5 X detects oncoming vehicles it will automatically switch between main and dipped beams to avoid dazzling oncoming drivers. DRIVER ATTENTION ALERT This function assesses the driver’s level of alertness and attention by identifying changes in vehicle distance between road markings. It is particularly suited to faster roads at speeds above 65 km/h. EXTENDED SPEED LIMIT SIGN RECOGNITION AND SPEED RECOMMENDATION In addition to speed limit signs, it also recognises other signs such as one-way signs, no overtaking signs, stop signs and end of overtaking signs. These signs are displayed to the driver and can also be configured to show in the Extended Head Up Display. CONNECTED SERVICES     

In addition to the advanced driver assistance systems described above,  Citroën C5 X offers Active Safety Brake, Collision Risk Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go Function, Hill Start Assist and more.

 

EXTENDED HEAD UP DISPLAY New generation head-up display The Extended Head Up Display projects key driving information onto the windscreen directly in to the driver's line of sight. The full colour, large dimensional display sets new standards for safety and ergonomics.

Using the steering wheel mounted controls, the driver can easily personalise and configure the display to meet their preferences.

This improves safety and well-being as the need to look away from the road to check key information on speed, driver-assistance systems, connected navigation, media or phone management is significantly reduced.

For even greater safety and comfort, Citroën C5 X comes with wireless connectivity:
 

• MYCITROËN PLAY PLUS: Compatible with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto,(i) Compatible Apple™ or Android^TM device required   the service offers extensive on-board wireless connectivity, simply by connecting your smartphone, to receive directions, make calls, send messages and listen to music, all in complete safety, without taking your eyes off the road. All your (compatible) apps are displayed directly on the central screen.

 

 

DRIVING ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS Highway driver assist Particularly suited to faster roads such as dual-carriageways and motorways, this functionality allows the driver to partially delegate tasks without reducing driving pleasure.

Operational from 32 km/h, simply select a target speed and the system will automatically maintain the position of C5 X in the lane, reducing the need for the driver to manage speed or steering.

This is not designed as a fully autonomous system and for the Highway Driver Assist function to remain active, the driver’s hands must be kept on the steering wheel at all times. The driver can of course resume full control of all functions at any time they wish.
